Can Boztay make a wall plate in a size that is not listed in the store?

Yes. If you need a wall plate with dimensions that we don’t currently offer, contact us with the size and configuration you need. We may be able to produce it as a custom wall plate.

Can I request a custom combination of switches and outlets?

Yes. We can consider custom combinations that aren’t currently available in our standard product line, such as different combinations of toggle switches, GFCI outlets, duplex receptacles, rocker switches, and blank sections.

Can I request a custom-size oversized wall plate?

Yes. Custom dimensions are one of the purposes of this service. If a standard wall plate doesn’t provide enough coverage for your electrical opening, let us know the exact dimensions you need.

How much does a custom wall plate cost?

For custom orders of up to 10 plates, the price is 2× the price of a comparable standard plate in our store.

For example, if the comparable standard wall plate costs $15, one custom plate would be priced at $30.

For orders of 10 or more plates, there is no additional custom-design charge. The regular price of the comparable standard plate applies.

Why does a custom plate cost twice as much for orders of fewer than 10?

Small custom orders require additional design, setup, and production work. Our simple 2× pricing helps cover that work without requiring a separate custom-quote process for every small order.

What does “comparable standard plate” mean?

A comparable standard plate is the closest product we already sell that matches the opening type, number of gangs, and general configuration of your requested custom plate.

For example, if you want a custom 6.5″ × 7″ Toggle + GFCI plate and we normally sell a 6″ × 6″ Toggle + GFCI plate, the 6″ × 6″ product would be the comparable standard plate.

How long does it take to make a custom wall plate?

Most custom wall plate orders can be completed within 1 week. The exact timeframe may vary depending on the complexity of the design and the quantity ordered.

Can I order just one custom wall plate?

Yes. Small custom orders are welcome. For orders of up to 10 plates, our custom pricing is based on 2× the price of the comparable standard plate.

Do I need to provide a drawing?

Not always. For a simple size change, the dimensions and opening configuration may be enough. For unusual combinations or opening locations, a drawing, sketch, or photo can help us understand exactly what you need.

Can you make a wall plate that isn’t available from other brands?

If the requested design is technically feasible, we can consider making wall plates with sizes or configurations that aren’t part of our regular product line. Contact us with your requirements and we’ll let you know what we can make.

Can custom wall plates be made for commercial or larger projects?

Yes. Our custom service can be useful for contractors, interior designers, property managers, commercial projects, and other applications requiring multiple non-standard wall plates. Orders of 10 or more plates receive the regular comparable-product pricing with no additional custom-design charge.
